AFRICAN WOMEN AMBASSADORS COLLABORATE WITH GALLERIST & CURATORS TO PILOT ART EXHIBITION FEATURING AFRICAN ARTISTS IN SWEDEN
Ambassador Priscilla Misihairabwi Mushonga of Zimbabwe together with members of the African Women Ambassadors Network collaborated with a renowned Gallerist and Art Advisor, Eva Livijn, and Art Curator, Ulrika Flink, to present “LIFELINES” which is an art exhibition running from 26 February to 5 April 2026, in Stockholm, Sweden.
The exhibition features 12 female Artists from 12 African countries, including Zimbabwe.
The Opening Night of the exhibition was attended by over 250 people comprising art collectors, artists, educators, art enthusiasts and members of the media.
LIFELINES brings into dialogue, artistic practices grounded in lived experience as a generative force. Working across painting, performance, photography, drawing, textile, and film and
video, the Artists approach lived experience not as background but as method.
The featured artworks are for sale during the ongoing exhibition. It is hoped that a positive reaction to the exhibition will lead to the birth of more frequent exhibitions in the future.
